My first street basher, and what a beast it is. A 6S, AWD retro styled beast. A handful, a slayer of tires, and a hoover of debris, it also provides endless shit-eating grins.
This upgrade really improved the handling and drivability of the 2WD Slash. It really opened up the car, and the LiPO battery is easier to charge for me at least.
As I get more hours and battery packs on the Slash project car, I find that it is becoming a favorite. Simple, easy to understand, and surprisingly fun to drive.
My recent experience with a base 2wd Traxxas Slash has inspired me to want a 4x4 version. I had *thought* a roller would be economical
Since I can't afford to drive/race stadium super trucks, I am grooving on the 2WD Traxxas Slash...
In the last post, I mentioned that I was going to put my money where my mouth is. I recommend for new RC drivers to strongly consider the Traxxas Slash, in the two wheel drive variant. A base 2WD Slash, brushed, retails for a nickel under $180. Of course you need to add a battery to that, or you can spend the additional $50 and get the version with an included charger and NiMH battery pack.
An oldie, but a goodie. The In-Laws is a typical comedy from the late 1970's, but the performance and interplay between Falk and Arkin make it a classic.
Sourdough is daunting for those new to baking, but it isn't difficult, nor is it as fragile as many think. Here I dispel (I hope) some of the myths surrounding kick-ass sourdough.
